Looking for Hi-Power mags?
Found a site called gunmagwarehouse.com that is selling Browning Hi-Power 9mm 13-Round Original Inglis Factory Magazine for $39.99 each. The two I bought that were still in their factory wrappings and fit almost flawlessly just like the OEM's. Only drawback was the extremely slow shipping with I mentioned in the feedback. They seem selective about which feedback to publish as they never published mine. I like having factory mags instead of aftermarket brands.

Those magazines are actually Indian production, not original Inglis mags. However they are as close as you can get to the real thing. The markings tell the story.
Still a good value, though.

That’s not the best price I’ve seen. I bought a couple last year from MidwayUSA for $21.99 each.

I’m a big fan of running Mec-gar mags. It’s the only aftermarket mag I’ll use. Have never had a bad one and they are decently priced. They have been an OEM manufacturer for several companies including Sig. I have used them in my Hi Powers (a German WW2 production, a Mk III, and the .40 S&W model which I just gave to son #2 because the slides 20 pound recoil spring was just too hard to pull for these old hands lol

I have two types of Mec-Gar mags for the BHP. One is the bright blue finished standard magazine. Other than the finish, it's like the older FN mags. The second is the OEM FN mag (made by Mec-Gar), which has the spring that ejects the magazine from the gun, even if the magazine safety is intact. This one also has a very slight change in the angle at which it presents the cartridge to the ramp (it's higher). You have to put the two types side by side to see it. Supposedly, the higher angle makes it more likely that hollow-point ammunition will feed properly, even in the older guns with the humped feed ramp. Oddly, the bright blue mags drag on the magazine safety more than the FN phosphate (?) finished ones. Some day, I'll get around to checking all this out on my old High-Power. FYI, when the Belgians acquired some Inglis High Powers from Canada after WW2, they discovered that the Inglis mags had to be kept with Inglis guns and vice-versa with FN-made specimens. Also, the "standard" bright Mec-Gars are a lot cheaper than the FN-marked "mousetrap" model.

My 15 year old Smith 1911 was shipped with S&W Made In Italy magazines.
Never confirmed it, but I’m relatively sure they’re mec-gar manufactured. The Mec-gar are my first choice for the double action hi-power CZ 75.

Mec-gar all the way. I find that the 15's run as well as the 13's, and I am lucky to have some of their 20's.

I used to have a nice Inglis with the original wooden holster/stock attachment. It was a cool firearm. I probably still have at least one extra original Inglis mag in a box somewhere if you need one.

My general practice is that MecGar makes a magazine for a given gun that I own that's what I use.
