CZ (Dan Wesson) Customer Service
I had the plunger tube come loose on a DW 1911 Vigil Commander after
about 350 rounds, so the LGS sent it in to the factory under warranty.
Three weeks later the pistol was back. I was expecting an 8 week turnaround, so I am pretty happy with 3 weeks. I will be even happier if
the repair was done correctly and I have no more issues. Willyboy

I had a 715 revolver I bought second hand that had damaged rifling in the barrel. When I emailed them about a replacement they responded right away and had it in stock and ready to ship. I was actually quite surprised how easy it was

I also had a great customer service experience with CZ about 10 years ago. Needed something fixed on the P01. Called and spoke with live and knowledgeable person who was also a member of CZ's shooting team. Question answered. Pistol shipped out on CZ's dime and returned quickly. It's one of my favorite pistols. Wish that CZ made revolvers...Well, it sort of does now. Glad CZ bought Colt.

My opinion is based purely on anecdotal evidence and I freely admit that.
But considering what I’ve read across multiple forums, experienced first hand, and experienced via close friends and many shared range days and tens of thousands of rounds down range through many hundreds of different handguns...
It is my opinion that simple process of elimination must leave -ONE- current gun maker in the #1 slot for quality across their entire production line, with regards to volume gun makers. (Meaning I don’t count Wilson Combat or Freedom Arms or any maker of similar size.)
I believe that number 1 slot is occupied by CZ-USA and at the same time, I don’t believe that one particular ampersand-wearing brand could crack the top five.
I’ve also seen many accounts of an earlier generation of S&W fans who believe that the Bangor Punta era of S&W was it’s worst ever, and from my view, we are seeing S&W’s worst quality right now.

Further reason that I have no doubt Colt is in good hands...
