The wife ordered a pair of Rams horn panels for Valentines Day for that I planned to put on my blued Colt 1911.

They are from Alamo grips. I had high hopes. Unfortunately the right side panel bushing holes do not line up, thus the panel will not fit. Not even close.

This is unfortunate. I don’t think they can be repaired since the holes are so far off. I will be returning these and cannot recommend this company for custom grips.

Too bad as those are very attractive grips.

Try Executioner. He sometimes has rams horn and, out of over a dozen grips, each has fit well.

thanks, I've checked out his website. Seems he only has some elk panels. I'll continue to look for updates.

I'm also looking at Roger's guns. Seems to have a ton of nice selections, and pictures the grips on the gun (so we can see fit).

Can't go wrong with Roger's guns and grips.. I have bought lots of grips from him over the years. He has every kind of grip material there is plus vintage hard to find wood for most Smiths and Colts. Also a very nice guy to deal with, never had a problem with any of his grips.......................................M*
