I did not do a full count so I will say my ratio is 3-4 handguns to each long gun. Ammo is a different ratio entirely.

I have not had a boating accident yet.

About 3:1 long guns over short. But I shoot 85% of my handguns and only about 20% of the long guns. Muzzleloaders, antiques, and certain family guns aren't going anywhere but i don't shoot them.

For me it's about the same number of handguns, rifles and shotguns.

The difference is in the turnover. Because it is very difficult to purchase a handgun in New Jersey my handguns are a semi-permanent fixed set. On the other hand, the rifles and shotguns come and go, depending on what I feel like having in my accumulation.

Seriously, folks, nobody cares how many guns you own and when your avatar is "Somebodyuptherelikesme" nobody knows who you are anyway and the moderators will lose this Forum if the day comes when they have to; count on it.

I have at one time owned more than 100 or 120 guns. When I was a cowboy action shooter and told some old boys that number the response was often, "nice start". Sadly, due to my 2018 fire, I lost a few (very few) but I sold the water stained ones so I don't have that many as I used to. Still. You do the math; I said 7% were loaded, right?

Its exactly 10-1 in my life. Not a whole lot of long guns for me

21 handguns, 18 rifles and 3 sxs shotguns, evens out about right.

Slightly over 50% handguns, the remaining about 20% CF long guns and about 14% each of Rimfire and shotgun.

I also try not to count but a guesstimate of about 65 handguns(90% revolvers) 15 rifles and about 7 shotguns, 3 pellet guns, so I can quite do the math on that breakdown.

No reason to be sorry. Some people are scared I understand.
