I'm not a single-action guy...but...
My wife made me buy it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. She said she wasn't going to listen to me whine and cry about not buying it.
USFA SAA, in 45 Colt. Immaculate condition (much better than the pictures might indicate, unfired outside the factory I believe.) with box and papers and such.

For a guy that’s not a SA guy, you sure got a good one. Looks great and I am certain it will shoot great as well. (Hope you intend to find out). Sounds like a great wife too!

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. I did buy a box of ammo, but one side of my brain says don't...the other side says why not?
Since I can't "prove" it's unfired, and hell, I ain't getting no younger...I probably will.

Cajunbass - that is one sweet SA. It's a real shame the company went out of business. I have an identical revolver and it's a "shooter".
By actual count, I have a little over 1,500 rounds thru mine and it still looks "unfired". The timing is perfect and the other tolerances on that revolver are TIGHT!
You bought it - now go Shoot it - and most of all, Enjoy It!

USFA did make nice single actions! I have been thinning the safe herd but there are still two USFA guns in there and one is a 45 Colt like yours.

I'll bet you become a single action guy now!
It's impossible not to with a good gun like a Colt or USFA.

You definitely have a good one there. USFA made what many will tell you was the best SAA clone out there - probably surpassing the original Colts.
I have this one - made in 2006 under the Colt Dome - it's in the "pre-war" configuration in .45 Colt. Doug Turnbull did the case hardening.
