Last Year I sold a couple of Glocks for double their value & walked into a couple Heckler & Koch USP Compacts in 40 S&W
I converted the Stainless one to Left Handed Safety Control =V2 for when I carry two + have a South Paw Son..

Very nice guns! I sure as heck wouldn't mind having a full sized USP9. My full size USP45 V1 is one of my favorite, modern, .45s. With that said, I always thought HKs were overpriced, for what you got, in comparison to the competition.
Congratulations on the acquisitions!

My USP .45 has a LEM trigger and NO external safety. World of difference.

I bought mine used. Both are full size. The 45 was a number one and the trigger was Sorry; I sent it off to the factory for the LEM trigger. I paid $350.00 For it originally, from Ahlman’s in Morristown, MN.
The other one was already an LEM .40 caliber. I had the devil’s own time getting that one to run on.357 SIG. In fact I had gotten my SIGs with DAK triggers before I accomplished that. Keeping in mind H&K introduced but never delivered these USPSs as a .357 SIG. Mine runs like a Swiss Clock after I finally beat it into submission.

Through the years I have mostly turned away from plastic pistols. Then the USP9 came out and there was a plastic pistol that I could put my faith into.
Most of my USPs were purchased NEW, both my 9MM and 45 have serial numbers in the low 600s so you can see I wan an early adopter
I tried one LEM even tried a SIG DAK, I am just not a DAO kind of guy. Like you I like mode 1/2 with the ability for cocked and locked carry

What is a USPS?
I do have a USPc chambered in 357SIG from the factory
I am a BIG fan of 357SIG and have several HKs chambered in that cartridge

Back before the current insanity, I bought a USP and USPc in .40 for under $700 for both. Both were police trade-ins. They have proven to be simply outstanding pistols.
I swapped the USP to the LEM trigger, which I love so much I later bought a LEM P2000SK in 9mm. I haven't swapped the USPc to LEM yet, but I'm sure I will eventually.
I actually just bought some .40 JHP bullets so I can load up some carry ammo since Underwood seems like they might never sell ammunition again.

USP is the designation of the pistol in German, iIt’s plural letters in English. I can state it for you in German if you like: universal self loading pistol etc and so on.

I am VERY familiar with what a USP is and I know that USPs is the plural. I also know what USP stands for. I even speak German
It was not my intent to try and insult you in that post
If you will re-read post #5, you said "H&K introduced but never delivered these USPSs as a .357 SIG".
I did not know if your typo was trying to talk about a the plural of the full size USP or the plural of the compact USPc
So I asked you for clarification on what the USPS is, still knowing that you are talking about plurals of that firearm

$350 a piece for an HK is impressive! Today's prices makes me wish I had bought some more police trade-ins some years back, however, I bought what I wanted, since I can't really say needed, and don't usually buy with the intention of selling. In my case, they were metal SigSauers.
I'm sure more and more, the trade-ins will be polymer, striker-fired, 9mms, of the Glock and S&W varieties, with some SigSauer P320s sprinkled in.
