Default Five more vest pockets

First is a nickeled Schmiser (German), next a (Spanish) Star, A little (German) Sauer, A (Hungarian) Baby Frommer in 32 caliber, and finially a little (French) vest pocket that definitely looks French....My opinion. I hope you don't mind me showing some of the fifty in my collection......Just about every country. Maybe some of you will start collecting these little pistols?

Thanks for looking,
Joe

So glad you posted this. Now I don't feel bad for owning an Astra, a Jennings, and a Bersa. Been feeling like I have too many. Been wanting a Taurus PT22, or a Beretta 21a.

Glad to see them! There is an amazing variety of vest pocket pistols
from that era, and they are always fun to look at! When will the Walther
Model 9 make an appearance?

Funny! You started the last vest pocket thread!

Vest pocket pistols

I thought about collecting them but after I sold my Walter No. 1 and later on my Galesi .25 ACP I just didn't go any further with that amusement.

I picked up this Taurus PT-22 for $199.95 with 2 magazines at Sooner Guns in Tulsa earlier this year for my EDC bag. This and my tricked out Henry AR-7 in my "go bag" and 500 or so rounds are the "survival" guns in my kit.

Very nice!

Most don't realize just how long FEG has been making firearms.

Does this one count?

I have one, an Erma-Werke Walther TPH copy by American Arms, the PX-22. The sleeve make it easier to get more than just two fingers around it, and "plumps" the grip a bit. I'ts an accurate shooter out to 7-10 yards, and likes high speed ammo, such as CCI, better than standard. I've owned it more than 40 years, shot it very little, but always reliable.

The STAR looks like the CO model but there really isn't much difference betw it and the earlier Model C.
Very nice little 25's. I had a Model C and of course traded it off for something that I cannot remember.

I still have an original STAR Wooden slide cover box for a Model CO that STAR shipped some of their pistols in. Top cover markings are clear. The side label is very faint but it's there.

That's an extra firing pin in the box for the pistol.

The only 25auto I have now is a CZ45 made in 1947.

My LGS has an OD serial Colt Automatic and a early 60s Browning...I look at them every time I go in but have yet to pull the trigger.

I have a Beretta 950 in .25 ACP and two Beretta 21a, one in .22LR and the other in .25 ACP. Plus a LW Seecamp LWS-32 in .32 Auto.

Little pocket guns are awesome.

I really only have two true vest pockets, now.

I don’t consider my slightly larger ones, (Mauser’s, Beretta’s, CZ’s and such as vest pockets.)

Still looking out for a Mauser WTP II in excellent condition for an excellent price.

For what I would use it for, most vest pockets are out of my price range right now.

But...I came across this at a local gun shop while picking up a 19-3 transfer.

Couldn’t pass it up for $100...

Sterling 302 in .22 LR.

Bottom is a German Ortgies .25 acp. from ca. 1922. Top is my EDC, a 5 year old Seecamp in .32 acp.

Ortgies are my vest pocket addiction. One line, two line, three line, blued, bright nickel, matte nickel, 380, 32, 25, grip safety, and side safeties, a lot of variations to make them interesting.

I have a fondness for the so-called mouse guns. Its always good to have a gun for those times when you can't carry a gun.

Here are my two, a Beretta 21A in 22LR, and a CZ in .25 Cal.
I bought the Beretta and inherited the CZ, it was my Grandma's "Purse Gun".

In the early 90s I had one and it actually was reliable, as long as I was using full power Stingers and such.

Neato English!

A worthwhile gun collecting tangent. Thanks for posting them.

I entertained gathering vest pocket autos of the world back when they were cheap, but never got past the three gathered in: a Colt Model 1908, an Astra Model 1916 with loaded chamber indicator, and a Helfricht Model 3.

I have gobs of .25 ACP component bullets, bulk packed Remington 51 grain FMJ and can handload for the pipsqueak though its been years since I did so.

With high velocity ammo, it has never failed. The DAO trigger pull is smooth but VERY heavy. Accuracy is good until your finger starts to hurt.

Sent with some arcane communications device.
