Colt Pocket Positive
South Carolina Arms Collectors had their Columbia show 2 weeks ago and I ended up with this nice little 32 caliber Pocket Positive. According to the Colt web site this revolver will celebrate it's 100th birthday this year.
Sorry, no range report on this safe queen!

I have one too. Sometimes I carry it loaded with wadcutters "just for fun".

Very Nice Colt!
I know Hartsville, SC very well. I am not from SC but my mom lived there for 20+ years until her health failed and she could not live alone anymore. She has passed now. She lived on Pineland Circle off Kelly Town Road!

I recently picked this one up for $250. Probably around 70%-80% original finish.
Shoots pretty well, but I have a hard time getting a good hold on it because the undercut between the trigger guard and grip frame is cut so high. If I grip it high with my middle finger up in the crook of the grip/trigger guard, it creates a weird, awkward downward angle/reach for my trigger finger. If I grip it in such a way that my trigger finger is pointed straight forward, I only have one and a half fingers wrapped around the bottom 2/3 of the grip. Really weird.
I picked up a set of Pachmayr Compac grips for a Detective Special that fit it pretty well. I'm looking forward to trying it at the range again with the bigger grips.
