Astra A-70 parts
Hi fellow forum members!!
Am in search of a dealer that might have parts for an Astra A-70. I need the thumb safety and the springs and detent.
Anyone know if the thumb safety/decocker from an A-75 will work?
Jack First has one of those, but I don't think it will work, even though they look the same the owners manuals for each shows a different part number.
Thanks for your help everyone!!
Randy
PS. This is for one of my guns that was returned by Montana HP to me yesterday. The perp knocked out the thumb safety.....so begins the journey in finding one.

You can always order the part from Jack First and if it doesn't fit, just return it and they will refund your money. I have an Astra Constable in 22LR that needs a safety. I ordered one from Jack First, but didn't realize there are two different styles. Of course I have the earlier style. I sent it back RTS and they refunded me.
Astra parts are not easy to find, as I'm sure you know! Ebay is another place to look. Or maybe Bob's Gun Parts.
Good luck!

I was just reading that Sprinfield Armory produced some of those as a "Firecat" in the 1990's... maybe give them a call and see if they have any parts left laying around.

The last importer for the Astra A-70, A-75 and A100 series was E.A.A, European American Armory. I would try them first.
