More stolen guns returned!!
3 more of my stolen guns have been returned to me in the last 2 days!!
My Astra A-70 9mm which needs a thumb safety. Returned by Montana HP.
Today BATF returned my S&W model 41 and my Star M45 Firestar, both of which need work as well. The Firestar needs a guide rod and recoil spring along with a slide stop.
The 41 had the front sight ground almost off and they carved up the grips.
See attached pics
BATF told me that they did not need them for evidence anymore, the man arrested with them is now dead!
BMCM (Bill) has been contacted about sight restoration.....
Will keep you posted on the progress as it develops. I have already posted on the Astra....seems like parts are almost extinct, so if anyone knows location of some please let me know.

glad you got your guns back, but its a shame they are butchered up.
This is getting pretty bad around here, not only with guns but other things that they can turn easy.
I worry every time we leave for work, or go some place. This at a time when my wife and I thought we would soon be able to travel at will, after our kids are raised, and we retire.
Probably will have to stay home to keep our valuables from growing legs and walking off.
The only consolation for you is that the guy wont steal any more.

For parts, you might try Lee's Gun Parts in Irving Texas.

Growr, How many are left unaccounted for now. Kind of surprised at how many have been returned. But glad it is happening.

I too am glad they are being returned. But that damage on the 41, wow. 😡 Maybe I wouldn’t want it back.
I can’t imagine having to go through this. Maybe I missed it, but were the guns in a safe? What happened? I, for one, would like to learn for your experience.
I hope you get the rest back and they are in better shape.

Sorry to see those beautiful grips butchered, the new ones are nowhere near the feel and quality, they are made from some type of laminated wood now.
Maybe this is the opportunity to mount a red dot?

There is a gentleman who shows up at gun show in the midwest on a semi-regular basis. He restored a set of target stocks I was fond of last year. Not sure if he is a member here. Goes by "The Stockdoc" online.
