Took these today at the range. It's a Kimber of Oregon 82G single shot 3 position rifle in .22 LR. They were made for the US Army (about 20,000 of them) and most were never used. You can buy them from CMP for $600.00. They are supplied with very nice Australian made aperture sights. Today I shot 10 rounds into a 5/8" group at 50 yards using RWS Target Rifle ammo. Actually shot number 8 was a flyer due to a pre-mature let off.

WOW, Nice .22 rifle ! They hold a spot in my heart, For some reason I never go shooting without bringing a .22 rifle.
Here is the one I have from the US Army.
Stevens 416 X-Barrel, Marked US Property.
Wearing an Unertl 15X Scope.
I dont have the rests you have, I usually just roll up a piece of carpet for a front mount.
ANyway, I dont have any target pics, But I can usually hold 1.5" at 75 yards with federal bulk packs,,, I have never tried target ammo, But I will next time out!

Hey Pred,
That Unertl is probably worth a small fortune by itself. Nice rig.

Ron,

That's a really sharp rifle.

Is that a 'monster' recoil pad on the butt or something that allows adjusting LOP?

Great looking rifles guys. Ron, I have a buddy with an 82G, they sure are a lot of "bang for the buck".

Three plastic spacers for LOP adjustment, plus a thin rubber recoil pad.
