Default 81 years young

Was at my FFL picking up my latest impulse buy, a $300 DPMS AR (strong Connecticut 2010 vibes), also pictured in the lighting and backdrop it deserves,

when I discussed with my FFL that I'd likely not be seeing him again until my CMP number was up, he offered that he was going to sell his, at his cost. Turned into a slightly more expensive trip than I'd planned, but couldn't be happier. 1941 Colt frame, Remington Rand slide, 1985 TZ barrel. Absolutely needs all the springs replaced which is easy enough, and always forget how crummy the military 1911 triggers tend to be, but man I'm pleased as punch.

"Sold it to you at his cost" ?

Where do I find a dealer like that?

Great that you got both of those at reasonable prices, especially in these times of insane prices.
