Recently acquired a used Mossberg 500 12 gauge. Gun functions and shoots fine but was essentially a 2-shooter: missing the cartridge interrupter. One in the chamber and one in the magazine works great. More then one in the magazine leads to a bad jam. No problem - ordered one from Numrich. However, with the new part installed, the bolt only moves back about an inch and jams solid. Take out the interrupter, and it works fine again. The interrupter fits perfectly in the slot and pivot for it on the receiver's right side, but it appears to be somehow jamming the gun. Can anyone help?
