If I had to use one pistol it would be the Glock 19,just like all the SOCOM and special units worldwide. It fills the bill perfect!

Started w/ a 17L, then a 21, then a 22. All very excellent pistols. Ergonomics? Never had a pistol that was ideal/perfect out of the box. Have always found something that could/should be made better. Love 1911's, but the arched MS housing and extended GS and modifying the trigger guard/grip area, sights, ejection port, throating are all areas that occasionally require attention. My little brother asked help getting a good pistol that he and his wife could use. I got him a G-19. They are not gun people. They have been very pleased with the Glock. I looked at a G-43 on Saturday. Thinking. Sincerely. bruce.

Who is this, Gaston Glock??

I had a Glock 17. The recoil spring guide broke within the first fifty rounds and locked up the gun good and tight. I sold it.

Took you 3 1/2 years to come up with that profoundly informative, 1st post?

Sounds like your mind is made up. Buy a Glock. Lots of other people did.

My only Glock is an early Gen 1 17L. I love it. Points like a dueling pistol, either hand. I did switch out the ported barrel for a stock non-ported tube, and put on stock steel sights. It's my "if I could only have one gun" choice. The late Stephen A. Camps two articles on his 17L were what made me jump when I had the opportunity to get one.
