I'm looking at one to buy.

Anybody have experience with this revolver.

Yes, I know S&W and Ruger are better.

I actually like Taurus. I had a taurus 92 which was better than my Beretta I have now.

I have a great little Taurus Model 82 .38 spl.

Also have a Taurus 1911 AR which shoots better than either of my Springfield armory 1911's

I admit the only S&W I have to the .460 hand cannon which is great!

Don't have that particular one but I do have a 4-inch Tracker in 45 ACP. As well built as any S&W I have. I've put over a 1000 rounds through it and love it. This is one non-S&W in my collection that I will not sell.

I almost bought it, the cylinder seemed to have a little too much play in it.

Instead I ordered a Ruger Redhawk .44mag with rosewood handles, SS, 5.5" barrel, DA.

Hopefully it won't take 6 months.

I have a S&W .357 snubbie as a daily carry gun

link to picture at S&W site

It was uncomfortable to shoot till I changed the grips, but now I love it. I would like to warn you that a lot of people that bought them could not handle the recoil and sold them. A few weeks a go I was shooting it at the range and two guys wanted to try it out, neither one had a problem with the recoil, so it just depends on how recoil sensitive you are. If it turns out the recoil bothers you you can always load it with .38s but why buy a .357 if you are going to carry .38s in it

Whoops I just realized you are talking about an 8 3/8 revolver, a larger gun should not kick too bad. But now I have a question, is it going to be a carry gun? If it is concealed carry it will be a bit hard to hide
