I've held a baby eagle and it was calling my name. I would have to go with the Israeli beauty.

I recently shot an XDM and I really liked it. Easy on the hands, accurate, no failures, multiple shots(19+1) and interchangable backstraps.

If I were to get another handgun soon it would probably be a M&P9c.

I don't know. I don't really trust either SA or the Croatians to turn out a truly first rate handgun. Maybe that's just me though. Eh.

Baby Eagles always struck me as a servicable knock off/mutation of the CZ family, but why not just buy a CZ?

I'd get a Glock or look at one of the new polymer CZs if I was in the market for a polymer pistol. That or one of the FNPs in your choice of caliber, those are nice pistols.

But, despite having an H&K USP, an FNP .40, a Sigma .40 and two Glocks... I actually carry a good old heavy Sig P229 in .357 Sig as my primary.

I'm partial to the Baby Eagle -
The only double-stacked, hi-capacity 9mm that would fit my hands were the Browning Hi-Power or the IMI Baby Eagle.

I wanted the option of the double action & the De-cocker lever, so I went with the Baby Eagle. Even tho the de-cocker is on the slide, I think it's a great, all steel 9mm.

I use 62gn Magsafe's for HD rds. & 115gn Corbons for outside. It'll eat both without hesitating. I've had this one for approx 10yrs. and have never had a malfunction.

Bruce
