Indian Arms co.
Anyone familiar with Indian Arms semi autos as far as preformance, and or repair issues. I found one at our local gun shop but hesitate to buy it as Im not familiar with this maker although the price seems good, as it looks new.

If this is the company in Detroit, I've heard they are great little guns.

Indian Arms co. Reply to Thread
Yes, they are quality firearms. A short lived company, but a good quality firearm. I worked for them for several months in the very early 70s as a fitter for the slides and frames. I thought it was going to be the easiest job in the world, sitting and filing.
Boring and tedious work. I used to go jogging at lunch to revive myself.
The sad part was that I wanted one of those guns so bad, but at the time couldn't afford one. The owner offered me a special one of a kind serial number and I still couldn't afford it.
There was a major recession going on then and I was affected.
If you do a search, there was a recent thread started by "White Coyote" on the same gun, which was a clone of the PPK.
The owner claimed that the parts were interchangable with a PPK.

Haven't fired this yet, but it seems very well made.

I picked up an Indian Arms pistol about a month ago. Very well built firearm.
Here is the thread I started.

Check Safety on Indian .380
I have one and don't think I put 50 rds through it. The safety lever broke. Comes to find out that this part was cast and obviously had some voids in the cast. This is usually the case with cast items especially the ones that have force.
