I found this and I think it is really neat. It almost makes the assembly of a 1911 look easy.

Thanks that was interesting, I have owned a Gold Cup for 32 years, and thousands of rounds. But never took it all the way apart, don't I will either.

That's pretty cool. Makes it look easy! However that's a Series 70, involving way less cursing than a Series 80 with that little firing pin safety lifting cam thingy... I've completely disassembled and reassembled a Series 80 --- it's an experience that will remind you how clever John Browning was to create a reliable selfloader of this incredible Chinese puzzle complexity. It may also remind you why, if like me, you're mechanically challenged, Glocks have an inherent appeal...
