My 617-4 4" 10 shot. I used to love my 17's, and still do, but this one has stolen my heart. Very accurate, buttery smooth, and balances perfectly. It's a keeper.

Just got a 6" 617 so it is seeing more use right now. It is not as picky as my 41 with the cheap bulk stuff.

Sir, probably my Browning Buckmark. It feeds everything and is accurate with most loads I've tried. It's not as spiffy as my mid-'50s K22, but neither is it as fussy.

My Benelli MP95e:
I just sold my Hammerli Free Pistol and have suddenly realized that this is the only non-C&R/Antique gun that I own.
All my others except for a M1 Garand and a Chiefs Special Airweight are pre-war and therefor older than I am.

Ruger MkII like the one pictured. Accurate, stainless steel, and runs on any brand of 22lr.
I would dearly like one of the K frame Smith 22s, but never have the funds available when I see one.

Was my Ruger KMK-512, stainless bull barrell five and a half inch Mark II.
Now the 4" ten shot 617. Ruger ain't been out since I bought the Smith.

Would have to be ca. 1959 Model 17. Almost too nice to shoot, but just loves CCI Blazer 40gr. For slow plinking, a minty 3-screw Single Six 5.5" that has come to stay.

Model 63. I have a 1953 vintage .22 Combat Masterpiece that could move into the no 1 slot if I ever get the opportunity to really wring it out. I've had it four months now, and have only been out with it once.

I enjoy my j and k frame wheelgun 22's.
My favorite is a custom 41.
But the most used is my bullseye 22, it is a Pardini from the late 70's. Last Thursday I scored a 873 in a 900 match with it. This is very good for me as I am only classified as an expert and this is a high master score.

The Mosquito has a spotty reputation over on RimfireCentral. When they work right it's usually with Stingers or other Hyper-Velocity ammo.

Sig Mosquito is a good firearm, BUT it will like CCI mini mags, They are costly compared to the ruger's appetite of ANYTHING you feed it, I sold my Sig. Kept my Ruger MKII.

My experience with the mosquito is that the trigger was beyond terrible.
Perhaps the Ruger (mark II or earlier) or even the Smith 22A.

I have 3 competion models of Ruger MK II. Any one of the three is a great gun. I have a black model which I like simply because it is black,
not stainless. I put Herrets grips on the black one. They are walnut and
are ambidextrous.
