I bought a Glock Model 23 .40 from a friend many months ago. I'm trying to get my wife to shoot in police off-duty combat matches with me and I think the Glock would be easy for her to shoot. I like that she can just draw it and fire and then put it back in the holster. No safety, no decocking lever to mess with.
The only trick is that the .40 kicks quite a bit and the ammo is expensive. So I bought a Lone Wolf conversion barrel in 9mm. It drops right in. I don't even have to switch recoil springs or extractors. I bought four G19 9mm mags to go with the gun and now I'm set up to shoot 9mm in my .40 caliber Glock. Pretty neat. I like how the barrel looks too. Thick like a bull barrel.
I'm trying it out on Tuesday at the range to be sure everything works well. Anyone else shoot these Lone Wolf conversion barrels?
