Auto Subscriptions Not Happening

Posed this problem a couple of days ago, 40 people viewed it and then it just disappeared...Since "we" went down for maintenance the other day, I have not received ANY of my daily subscribed threads. Looks like I'm still subscribed but I'm not receiving. Me or You? And if me, what do I need to do?

Ok...no response/no help? What I've done in the interium: Cleared my computer twice; deleted all thread subscriptions one by one; resubscribed to desired threads wanting daily email updates one by one. No help. Did receive the weekly summary update but this doesn't come from the Forum anymore. Still no daily update emails. Help!!!

I wonder if something inadvertently changed in your "Settings & Options" section of the "User CP"?

I would double check the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" to be sure it is set to "Instant email notification" and make certain the "Receive Email from Administrators" check box is checked.

If all the settings look good, check to see if you email provider has shanghaied the forum email messages as SPAM or decided that the forum is not "Politically Correct" and bounced all email messages from "smith-wessonforum.com".

I had that happen once or twice. I solved the issue by grabbing a free email account from INBOX.COM to replace the accounts that kept getting bounced and now use inbox.com for all my shooting related forum notifications.

TusconMTB...thanks/appreciate your response! I DID receive an email that you had replied to my thread so that part is working.

Rechecked CP for proper email notifications and all looks correct. As stated, did receive an instant email that you had responded and all subscribed threads are set for daily email updates (believe they all used to happen around 1-something AM)...just haven't received any in a couple of weeks (since the message "we're going down for maintenance"). Also, Firefox looks okay on all option settings, etc. All other emails appear to be working properly.

Still need "something"???

I wonder if the "Daily email notification" feature went astray during the last forum maintenance?

If so, we will have to wait for forum management to address the issue. Sorry!

I only use "Instant email notification" which was not damaged. Admittedly, I often get more than one email per thread each day, but it is not onerous.

H--E--L--L--0! Lots of views but ZERO responses from the powers that be. It's pretty darn frustrating talking to dead air... (next is not shouting; I just don't know how to indicate talking louder)...IS DAILY EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS NOT WORKING OR IS IT JUST MY PROBLEM??????

I really hope it can be and will be fixed as I've looked forward to receiving all the new threads each day for years; my morning routine. At least I can quit pulling my hair out trying to fix my end. Steve

Lee & company...find I'm really missing the daily updates and have resorted to manually "crawling" all around the Forum but it certainly isn't easier; Please feel free to use my account as a guinea pig in your efforts to fix the auto updates. Tks, Steve.
