Default Can you spread the word concerning the attempted EU gun laws

Hi,

Although I know that this is a majority US on here I can't help but feel that the new proposed laws by the (in my eyes illegitimate) government of the EU will inexorably lead to the downfall of any and all shooting sports and defence within the so called European Union in which I live. As a proud owner of a Smith & Wesson MP9L I do NOT want to see my semi auto firearms which were legally purchased with permits etc. confiscated without compensation on the pretext of terrorism. This is yet another attempt by the EU gov. to erode our rights and liberties within our individual countries, we are, and never will be a single European entity nor will the removal of my guns have any effect on the level of terrorism or criminality within Europe. As far as I am aware ( and I am very) the majority of weapons being used by criminal and terrorist elements within Europe arrive from the balkan states dating from the various and ongoing civil wars and of course the middle east. What is even more amusing is the fact that quite possibly the majority of the arms that are coming from that region have more than likely been supplied by the very governements that are trying to restrict our rights to own firearms in the first place.

The proposed gun restrictions and laws by the EU smack horribly of a previous European dictator that went on to put the World into war.
