Default Violation of buying rules

It has been brought to my attention by another member that a dealer (possibly Fugate Firearms) has made an offer to buy one of the guns I have listed on the forum. If so, he violated the 24 hour rule, and is not a silver member. Upon checking his profile, he does list himself as FFL dealer. I have been made a back-up offer by a forum member. Upon verification of the original buyer's status, I would like to sell the gun to the second member. Do you see any problem doing this? Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Richard Schneider (screen name, sodacan).

Read the rules. If he was buying the gun for his collection, he does not have to wait 24 hours.
Since this was his first activity in the ads in well over a year, the Silver donation was not required.
It is covered rather clearly here-

No.
Read the Rules. Have your reading comp turned ON.
Then, show me which rules they are violating.

I think the question was, Can Fugate post a direct link to his website from the For Sale section. Shouldn't he list his site under Vendor like everyone else?

I think I know what the question was.
I also think it is covered rather clearly in both the rules, and the sticky posted above.

But, let's make it as clear as possible, lest someone have to actually READ the rules.

To wit:

Lee
I'm sorry you seem to be offended by my post. Seems like someone's panties are in a bunch.
I'll be sure to never question your integrity again.
By the way, if you have to ding me please feel free do do it. The answer I wanted to reply to your smart *** answer probably would have gotten me thrown off your forum!

Don,
You're easier to light up than a bucket of gasoline.
My advice to internet users is always the same- Don't interpret statements in the worst possible context.

I was not offended by your post.
Rather, just pointing out the obvious to anyone who wishes to seek data first, especially when the location of that data was provided, and post later. My first answer was made in a hurry on a busy afternoon, so I thought I'd clarify it for all, including the 17 members who reported the Fugate post or emailed me or PM'd me.

My panties are not bunched. I have them starched to prevent that. The chafing can be annoying, but I feel it's worth it. The pair I mailed you may have gotten a little bunched. Did you get them?

I'm not sure how this is a question of integrity? Definitiveness.......accuracy....veracity maybe?

You can send that answer you wanted to post via PM- might be amusing.

My wittiest old uncle used to say he'd rather be a smart *** than a dumb ***. I really miss him.

Last, I hope this little tiff doesn't affect our friendship or affect my ability to get letters.
