If Lee had the ability to see into the future, I'm sure he'd be out buying lottery tickets. Sometimes these things can take several days to remedy and at best, all they could offer you as to a fix date/time would amount to nothing more than a SWAG.

Hang in there, they are doing the best they can. Vbulletin (the forum software) can be a real bear to work with and trouble shoot.

Yes ... but my computer operates only on SWNT (Smith & Wesson Now Time). Don't have the leisure to wait for someplace called Greenwich.

After I make this post and go back out of this forum, I will be logged out with a message stating to delete my internet cache and temp. files. I am at the point of pulling out my hair to just stay logged in.

I figured out a way to stay logged on and to be able to see current posts and threads. When you sign on and it reads that you were signed on at an earlier time than what is stated, press your refresh button. It will refresh the system and the website to your current time.
My opening screen still has this message displayed at the top of the forum board;
"Log off, clear temp files/internet cache, then log back on, otherwise you will not see changes Thanks for your patience."

Do those accessing the site via computer getting different functionality than those of us on tablets. It seems with my iPad to be really bad. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, because it is not working for me.

On my Windows 10 home made custom Desktop and MSI Windows 10 laptop before coming to this site I do 2 operations and then I see all the new posts

#1 right click on the internet icon in the taskbar in the lower right corner by the clock>Open Network and Sharing Center.On the next screen in the lower left corner I click on Internet Options>Delete Temp Files/History

#2 Firefox Browser Menu upper right address bar>History>Clear Every thing

Then when I visit this site I enter my name and password in the big window and I'm good to go.YMMV

When I try to log in on my iPhone, I get the usual thanks for logging in then I get the log in page.

If I hit the "register" link, presto- I'm logged in.

Did you try clicking on the "New Posts" tab if that is the page you're looking for?When I click on it I get all the posts newest threads with new posts in them.

On the New Posts page the first 3 threads don't get replaced by threads with newer posts in them.

EDIT:the New Posts page loading was working OK for a few hour of use but now I'm getting only 1 thread appearing when I click on it?

It seems like I am playing a video game and keep losing.
I am now staying signed on, which is a great feat in itself. When I go to an individual forum my log in displayed time and username go to an earlier time that I was here. When I refresh my browser it then displays the correct information about the last time I was here. BUT, when I click onto a post/thread it reads the thread/post of a time as far back as a day. I refresh my browser and it brings the thread/post up to date. If I make a reply it goes back to an earlier time, as far back as a day. Again, I refresh my browser and the reply appears.
I hope everyone that is reading this understands it. The refresh button is currently my best friend on here right now. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing as to what I have stated here?

I know that some of you are frustrated, but believe me, I've seen MUCH worse. On a milsurp site I frequent the jokers at VBulletin issued an update a few years ago that trashed all the links to pictures posted on the site. It was not a recoverable error, so access to a great deal of interesting and useful information was lost. It wasn't like every poster was going to repost the pictures.

Even better there was the Avast Anti-virus update about ten years ago that once installed prevented ANY access to the Internet. Good thing there were two computers in the house that night.

I cleared everything in my FireFox browser just as described above (before coming to this thread) and so-far so-good. Everything seems to be back to working normally. Though for some reason the color of the yellow font on all the pages has switched from pale yellow to mustard yellow.

Chrome continues to give me troubles and says the site is not secure. Then it welcomes my login and dumps me. However Firefox works as it always has. Those of us with troubles accessing the site might do well to try an alternate browser.

I don't use Google software (Chrome) if I can help it and I'm not changing browsers for any site. If a site doesn't work with my browser (IE-11) and my security software/settings, I go elsewhere. I haven't had an "infection" in over seven years. I like it that way.

To me, it doesn't look like the site is back to where it was and it seems to change with every visit. I tried the log-off and flush but that didn't last. Are you saying we have to log on and log off with each visit?

The site is working perfectly for me in Google Chrome as of about noon yesterday after several iterations of dumping cookies and clearing the cache. It just took the admins a while to sort through what appeared to be a cascade of issues. Must have been frustrating for them, but thanks for the resolution.

For those still having issues try this.

WinXP: Start, Run and then type “cmd” and press Enter. Vista, Window 7 and Windows 8: Click “Start” and type the word “Command” in the Start search field.

Finally right click the command prompt icon and select the option to “Run as Administrator”.

In the open prompt, type “ipconfig /flushdns” (without the quotes).
