10,000+ views of a FOR SALE item...?
What forever for? To give the "Must Read these Rules" post a run for its money?
Perhaps a newer rule might be in order? Just asking... Do such posts EVER expire?

It's still for sale, isn't it?

It's over-priced, at least in my opinion. He only joined the forum to sell his item. He never bothered to introduce himself to the members, hasn't participated anywhere else on the forum, and all of his posts are to bump his ad. You'd think that by now he might have figured out why his item is still for sale.

Way more than that. It's been bumped every day without fail. At one point it had 2 pages.
The OP must've deleted several posts.
One would think that you'd get the hint after almost 2 months and reduce the price if you really wanted to sell it.

Lately I have Following a well known knife site.
I would say that blade folks are a bit eccentric but since I am one,
That would amount to self incrimination .
The ' hot' folders are the Great Eastern single blades.
Of course those are the ones I want!
Most of these usually $100-200 knives sell within seconds of being posted.
When they sell, these guys remove the selling price and leave a $SOLD.
If they don't sell pretty quick, they delete the listing.
I have purchased Several knives and been stiffed once.
It was a PayPal transaction and I got my money back, finally.
Confucius say different sites have different levels of delight.

And he's still bumping the ad every day. I wonder how long it will be before he finally realizes that nobody here is going to buy it at that price?

When I bump an ad I remove all but the original post. I don't want people to read 3 pages of " last bump before GB".

He's waiting for.....
That ONE person that is willing to pay his price and he'll wait for it. This could be a problem if more people do it because it will fill up the top of the thread with a lot of stuff nobody wants at that price.
I guess their thinking is that 'any time now' that person will show up.

While it "only takes one", I don't have the patience to keep bumping for two months.

I'm surprised this thread has been allowed to go on. The man wants what he wants. Free country ain't it? Don't like it? Move on.

I think it was three pounds eight shillings, but don't quote me on that.
