Default Album Pictures

I am trying to upload pictures to a new album. All the pictures are the same size 800 x 600px. After entering 8 pictures, I get the following message:

"This picture exceeds your total album file size quota by 19.0 KB."

I had just done another new album a few minutes earlier and uploaded many more pictures that were 768 x 1024px with no problem. What am I doing wrong this time? Thanks.

I'm not an admin, but I can tell you this. As a Bronze Level member, the total allowed for your personal photo gallery is only 5Mb.

I looked at your albums, and looking at the number of photos you have in them, I'm guessing you've exceeded the data limit for your membership level. Note that I say I'm guessing, okay?

I figure you have two choices. Delete some of your photos so you can add newer ones, or subscribe at a higher membership level.

Or maybe...maybe...consider saving your photos at a lower image quality level. If you're "saving for web", instead of saving at the "original" size, save the image at the "optimized" size. That doesn't change your image dimensions, but it does decrease the file size in megabytes, and there's really no loss in image quality.
