Prize Alert!!! is it bogus?

I was surfing the forum on my ipad when a Prize alert!! box popped up. I tried to close the box without clicking on it but had no luck. The only way I could get out was to close the page from the screen showing all recent pages. Then I went to History and found three of them.

I always refrain from clicking on the box and just try to get out of the screen where it appears.

These got by Malwarebyes as well as my popup blocker.

Any ideas as to what may be going on?

I got the same thing a few days ago when I tried to read a thread of mine on my Android smartphone.

Just got it on my computer and Malware blocked it and notifiedd me. NO IT IS NOT LEGIT!!!

EDIT: Malwarebytes is showing an IP address of 138.197.18.243 which is located in Clifton, New Jersey. That alone makes is suspect to me.

It appears our beloved site may have been hacked.

I've had it pop up on me several times. I close the page and reload the forum. Kind of a pain in the backside.
