Default ads.publematic.com keeps taking over

your web pages. Could you please send several (a fleet) Internet ICBM's their way and wipe them out. The totally blank white pages are getting to be a real nuisance.

BTW this is using IE11 as a browser.

You should seriously consider ditching IE. It is no longer supported by MS, and therefore more prone for advertisers to make use of known loop holes. And once they have invaded your computer, you will need to sweep it for spyware, viruses, and the latest fad - programs that hijack links and send you to a totally different site, often one that is infected.

Per Microsoft for those who preferred the look and features of Internet Explorer they provided IE 11 just for that reason and to use this browser all one has to do is click the 3 dots in Edge and make that selection.

I use EI 11 for two reasons.

One is that it is the most stable browser with my ACUS based computers. BTW, ASUS CS still won't own up to compatibility conflicts with Windows 10. Just about every browser I've tried (everything except Chrome) has freezing issues and EI 11 freezes the least often with Firefox second and Edge a distant third.

The second is that I grew up reading and can still read. So it's much easier for me to use a text based browser than an Icon based browser.

Dell did the same thing with the Alienware Aurora R3, not only refusing to upgrade the bios which is the root cause of many problems, but going so far as to publicly state that owners who updated to Windows 10 were on their own and actually recommended against using the operating system.

That aside, Windows 10 continues to evolve, and as it does the problems between it and the R3 have become less frequent and/or easier to resolve. The latest Win 10, the Creativity version (IIRC) installed on my R3 with no problems whatsoever.

Refusing to abandon IE is your choice, but as the internet and computer world move on, you can expect to have more and more problems. Although I personally do not like Chrome, if you haven't tried it, I would. I use Firefox, and while it's not perfect, it far outshines the problems I had with IE.
