When using Safari on my iPad or phone, I get a red”website not secure” in the address window when logging in.

You'll get that now on any website that is not a secure site, like your bank or credit card sites, or sites where you are buying something.
Secure websites have URLs that begin with https

yep, everytime I logged on for about two weeks, I got one of those goofy, supposed Microsoft has detected a virus...

only on the S & W forum,,, I shut er all down and scrubbed and scrubbed, all better now....
