Default Strange "Microsoft" message

Lately, EVERY time I log onto the forum, (and ONLY the S&W forum) I get a "message block" in the center of the screen alerting me that
"server micliedsopedia.22club"
needs my user name and password. This totally locks my laptop until I physically remove the battery to reset it.
As this ONLY happens on your forum, I assume it's some virus in your system, and thought I'd bring it your attention.
I love the S&W Forum, and would hate it to get messed up .

This happened to me with a different server name, and claims to be because the site is seized by the FBI.

Yes, I had to cold boot the machine offline to get rid of it.

What research I've done shows that it has been idle on the machine for several months, and arrived with some sort of free download. It is strange, as I don't download much, and only things I need. Even fewer on the machine involved. It seems to have awakened and installed itself last night.

I think it has nothing to do with the forum, as the machine involved has never been used to access the forum.

Suggest that you download MalwareBytes and run it. That is what found mine, and removed it. The standard MS virus scan did not find it.
