Default Searching

Is it just me or does Search not work anymore? I can't get it to return anything anymore have tried it on 2 or 3 different browsers and computers for several days now..just no results dislayed. It used to work if you searched for model 25-2 or something similar. No more. Really putting a damper on my research.

Never mind -- think I found the answer -- I had a wrong user ID - not sure how I obtained it.

Just for feedback.

Click my name in a post for "Find all posts by wittmeba" the link reads:
http://smith-wessonforum.com/search....duser&u=243458 << this works

Click my name in a post and select "Find all posts by wittmeba" the link reads:
http://smith-wessonforum.com/search....rchid=10734216 << this does NOT work

I was trying to reconstruct my personal bookmarks to view my posts for followup/answers and these give different results.

2nd part of the problem: even when I obtained the mostly correct results -- my 2 most recent posts did not show up (perhaps this is a forum delay verify process).

Which search are you using - the one at the top right of the screen or the one at the extreme right of a forum heading that is labeled "Search this Forum"? Of the two, I would recommend the latter.

Neither one. I was (it now works correctly) trying to create a bookmark to automate when I select a set of links within Firefox Bookmarks to open my recent posts.

It is all good now -- as long as I don't lose the link.
