Do you have a sent folder in your email program?
If you don’t see one, you should able to set one up that saves all sent messages.

If you are referring to PM's or Private Messages, at the top center part of that section is a box labeled "Folder Controls". Inside, switch from "Inbox" to "Sent Items" using the down arrow.

Let me try again.
When I use the forum's email function to communicate with another member, I hit the send message button and HOPE its gone. How can I check to see that the email went out (like reviewing a PM in the PM sent folder)?

I understand your question.
The answer is-
There is no way to tell.
Since the forum sent an email on your behalf, you will NOT have a copy in your email's ''Sent" folder.
However, you can be sure that it was sent.
IF they still use the email listed on the forum, they will get it.
I suppose it is possible that it might go into their SPAM folder.
The email you sent them will contain your email address.
If they reply, it will come directly to you. It will show you their email address.
