Default re-finding thread

Greetings,

I'm not sure I am using the correct terminology here, so please bear with me.

When I post on a thread, I do get "subscribed" to it, and get notified of new posts.

However, when I click on the notice, most of the time it takes me to the beginning of the thread - not the most current post location.

This is a recent development, and doesn't seem to be the case in all threads - mostly the longer ones where it is the most inconvenient.

Any ideas of settings wrong, etc?

Thanks
