>>> Notification Problems? Please Read!! <<<
Many have reported problems with notifications. While this appears widespread, it also isn't affecting all users. To that end, please help us by telling us what you are using to try to respond to notifications. List what you are using (phone vs tablet vs desktop) what operating system (Apple vs Android vs Windows 7, 8 or 10) and what browser (Taptalk, Firefox, IE, etc.).
If we can narrow it down to specifics, it will help immensely.
For example, I'm experiencing no issues:
Desktop PC
Firefox
Windows 10
Thanks!!!

I can’t access notifications at all.
I’m using an iPhone primarily, but I get the same non access using my Lenovo laptop with Firefox.

When clicked, I see a very small portion open but can't click on anything. It appears to be a layering problem. Happens on my MacBook, iPad and iPhone all using Safari.

My first problems showed up when using my apple tablet while my laptop was in the hospital. Latest OS update there, and using Chrome as my browser. Work around suggested here allowed me to see notifications. Got my laptop back yesterday using Windows 10 latest updates with Chrome browser. Same issue was present, but hovering my cursor over the Quick Links allowed me to see the drop down menu, this after clicking the notifications button. Not smart enough here to make any suggestions ... just reporting my situation.

I’m using IPad, Safari. Notifications, and some other internal links, such as user name, also fail to generate drop down menus.
Same thing for IPad, Chrome.

I have a desktop Mac OS High Sierra, version 10.13.5, with Safari browser. I can't read/get any notices, private messages, or send PMs, etc., and Forum seems to run very slow. When I click on "Your notifications" I get either a small pop up saying "YO" directly under the "Your" in "Your Notifications" or a small blue square pop up. I can see the Forum postings and post responses OK ( except it's very slow ) Rebooting has no effect. Ed
7/7/18 I did what kobsw suggested and it worked. I can see my Notifications, etc., so the Mods need to figure out what went wrong and get things ship shape again! Call geek Squad?

**Dirty Fix**
Mac OSX 10.11.6 on a MacBook Pro with Chrome Version 67.
**Dirty Fix**
- Click on your Notification and if you're having the issue just a small part of the drop-down menu appears.
- Now, with the small portion of the drop-down menu still showing, move your cursor to the Community drop down menu.
- The Community drop-down full menu will appear.
- Finally, move your cursor back to the Notifications drop-down menu and all of the menu items will show up.
It's not ideal but gets the the job done.
Fyi, this also works with Quick Links because I'm having the same issue with that menu as well.
Regards,
Kobsw

Looking at this note above:
**Dirty Fix**

I don't see any part of the Notifications menu, but if I cursor over the Community, that list pops. Then cursor back to Notifications and it will show up.
I suspect there is some general initialization for the Notifications drop down list that has been lost. Go to another dropdown where it works (don't use it, just let it display), and come back, the init has already been done but not "used", so it shows up now.

I have the problem on both my Android Tablet and my laptop. The laptop is on Windows 10 and using Google Chrome. The temp fix of clicking Notifications, hovering over Community and returning to Notifications does work, but just on the computer.

Using my Samsung Chromebook and when using my my Samsung Galaxy s6. If I click on the notifications, only a small part of the drop down menu shows and I'm not able to see anything, or select anything either.

Desktop
Vista(going to replace the hardware soon, so won't be updating this)
Chrome(here is where the problem seems to lie; I also have IE, tried it and it seems to work)
In addition to Notifications, I'm not able to click on a member's username so as to send them a PM.
Thanks for your help, gentlemen.

I can't send PMs, access any of my notifications, etc. I click on it and it wants to show the drop down, but doesn't.
