Problem with function

I am using a Mac running OS High Sierra 10.13.5 with Safari 11.1.1

When I try and click a members name in his post all I get is a little square below his name with the first letter of his name partially displayed. I can get to his info/PM page by clicking on the avatar, but not on the name.

Also the same thing happens in the header with Search, Community, Quick Links, and Expert Commentary, all the others work as they should.

I am also running Mac with High Sierra and Safari. I cannot dependably get or send PMs, but can read "Likes" by using a roundabout method mentioned elsewhere on the Forum. Forum also has spells of running very slow again. Apparently whatever the glitch is, it is baffling the Forum's IT staff. Time to call in reinforcements ? Ed.

From what I understand there was an earthquake near the building that the forum servers are housed in. Apparently one of the mifflin pins fell into the derfaler valve and caused a partial short in the framilator.

I understand that this will all be corrected this week.
