Avoid being scammed...?

Generally, as a buyer, what is the best form of payment when doing transactions in the WTB section? I want to protect myself as best as possible.

First, read the sticky in the WTB section about getting scammed. Other than face to face transactions, involving a FFL to broker the sale should offer some protection. In other words contact a FFL near the seller, ask them to inspect the gun and send the payment to them.
