Default Warning from the S&W forum

When I clicked on a link to pictures in a classifieds ad here on the forum, I received this warning;
"Warning! The intended destination is not part of Smith & Wesson Forum.
If you do not recognize S&W 17-2 — imgbb.com or do not trust the person who gave you this link, close this tab or click the Back button in your browser."

Are people just using an unsecure pictures web site or are you guys really watching out for us? (I didn't proceed to the pictures and just had to rely on the 2 pictures shown in the ad).
Just curious;
Mike

It does that anytime you click on an external link regardless of the web address. At least it does with me. Just a feature of the site, I guess.

That's a safe link. A lot people, including me, now use that hosting site ever since Photobucket got greedy.

On the internet folks need to watch out for themselves. I'm sure this forum does all it can but in the end we're all responsible for our own actions.

The browser I use recently started giving me those warnings every time I click an external link. It is something the browser has apparently added.

It is just that- a WARNING that you are leaving this forum.
It does NOT know if the destination the link is taking you to is dangerous or not.
