Default Pop ups

The “Congratulations....Amazon.com...” pop ups are back. I don’t get them anywhere else. Clearing cookies, clearing history and turning off my iPad have no effect. Pretty sure it’s the forum.

Good luck and thanks.

I saw one of those yesterday. I believe they come from the ads, not the forum. I am a moderator on another forum, and these things happen because the ad vendors are less than scrupulous about QC on the advertisers. The same ad displayed on different forums will have the same effect.

You do need to run a malware / virus scan, but then that should be done with great regularity even if you don't see issues. The ones you can't see are the worst.

The driverupdate download is still trying. It is definitely associated to an ad.

In it's contract with the service provider for the ads - which help finance the forum - the forum has no control over the ads. If however you contribute to the forum, the ads will go away.

Problem solved.
