Is there a way to be notified of a particular users posts? Would "Friending" them do it?
There's a user who's promised to post more interesting things in the future and I'd like not to miss them.

One option:
After logging on, I often seek out the usernames of several folks here that I like to follow as I really like what they say.
I highlight their username and then click on "find all posts by"
The most current are listed first.

I do not know of any way to do so.
Having them on your Friends or Contacts list would make it easy to find their Profile to pull up their most recent posts as Rusty describes.
