I thought when you contribute to the forum my pm storage size would be increased. Just checking

It does, usually.
A regular member has PM capacity of 25
Bronze increases it to 50.
However, long ago we gave SWCA members 50. So, the Bronze did not increase your capacity.
Click Donations in the top nav bar and you can see the capacity for each level.
