Access problems
Hi,
On Friday I changed my modem. I cannot go to the forum section of the site. I can log in and do private messaging. However when I click on forum, my modem says I am not connected. I am using wifi through the modem now from iPhone. I can go anywhere else I want like banks or the like. Some how I think your system is not accepting me completely. Any ideas?? I need to work on my infractions. Just kidding. TX

If you can't get to the forum, how did you make this post?

I made this post from another location on another computer. However, I could have made it through my iphone using my wifi through my new modem.
On my existing computer using the new modem that is hard wired ( always has been ), I can log in, view new posts and respond, change my profile, do private messaging, go into any forum if I go through " new posts", check member profiles etc. I simply cannot click on the word " forum" and pull up the forum list. I get a screen that says my modem is not connected.
I can go to any other website, say doctor, banks, broker, Amazon, Walmart etc.
That is why I think the problem is on your end, because I can navigate the site

Have you tried clearing cookies/temp files/browse history, restarting your computer and signing back in? That often cures a variety of ills.
I have read of issues with Netgear modems not connecting to unsecured websites (http vs https). You might try contacting the manufacturers customer support.

The operating system is windows 7. I have not deleted temp internet files, but I have signed out , shutdown, and restarted. I am not home now or I would not be able to answer this unless done on my iphone
