Server not Found--Smith & Wesson site
I could not get on this site since this morning, it said "Server not Found" on both my home computer and on my Android phone. Both the server at home and the phone were rebooted, or whatever "they" do externally. Now this works on my home computer, but not on my Android phone. It's ONLY this site, from what I can tell.
This has never happened before. Any ideas?

I had the same issue on my IPhone this morning. My wife could not access her work, GOOGLE, or her email on her phone.

I had the same problem last night and early this morning but seems to be OK now (1:15pm PDT). Didin't try my iPhone but it was the same on both my Mac & Windows computers.
I guess it was just a case of "stuff happening" out in the great void that is cyberspace.

In my limited research it seems to be an issue with vBulletin (the company that wrote the forum software.) I got two messages stating that they were aware of the issues and had contact with the forum heads.
It also seems that a few members still cannot access the forum but I have faith that it will be resolved to everyone's satisfaction soon.
Again, I am not a techie. I am just sharing what little I have uncovered.

That's weird.
I couldn't get in using my laptop.
So I tried my phone and it logged in just fine using 4G service.
So then I tried putting the phone in airplane mode (shut off cell service) and turned on just the Wi-Fi and it couldn't connect through my Wi-Fi connection to the internet.
At first I thought it was my home Wi-Fi, but everything else was working, including connecting to other sites using my laptop.

We’re starting to sound like a bunch of Gen Z’ers who can’t get on their instagram. It’s the interweb...it breaks sometimes...deal with it!

Speak for yourself!
I only posted a comment because I thought it was weird that my phone could connect over cell service but not over my Wi-Fi.
I initially thought it was a problem with my ISP, like a downed DNS server or something - but then I realized that couldn't be it because it was resolving other domains just fine...

I have it on good authority that we were hacked by the Glock Forum out of jealousy and spite.

FWIW Very strange,my phone does the same. Will not connect on Wi Fi but does on Verizon network.Maybe all this will help the developer solve the problem.

There was a major IP problem with T-Mobile and its associated services starting Monday. That may the phone issue for some of you. Whether that also made the forum invisible too I cannot say.

That's interesting.
It wouldn't be related to what I experienced though - because I COULD get into the forum on my cellular internet - which is Verizon, but I COULDN'T get in using my Comcast broadband internet with my laptop OR my phone.

On Monday, both my computer, which is Verizon, and my Android phone, which is AT&T, would not access the Smith & Wesson site and that was the ONLY site with such problems.
Now, I can access on my computer, but the phone still says "Server not found" when I access this site there. Any ideas what can be done?
Yes, I now sound like a GenZ and had no idea how reliant I was on this site.
