"Your notification" drop down not working
I thought it was a Firefox 79 issue, but it doesn't work with Exploder, either. I updated to FF79 Monday When I click the mouse on the "your notifications" link, it jumps into the User CP. Any ideas?
The drop down works properly in Chrome, and I can post in Chrome, but not FF.

I am running Ver. 79 64 bit and can't replicate the problem. Try the standard fix of clearing history and cookies, logging off closing/reopening browser and logging back on and see if the problem still exists. If the problem is still there, you may have to reinstall FF, unless someone else has a suggestion.

Mystery solved. This site uses some kind of script associated with ajax.googleapis.com to make that menu work. Somehow that script was being blocked in FF79 but wasn't in FF77.
I'm beginning to like the Web less and less as too many sites seem inoperable without letting in Facebook, Google or Amazon associations/cookies/scripts.

Running Privacy Badger might be the problem: with it on I had no drop down menu. I cut off Privacy Badger and the drop down menu appeared. I checked out my notifications and then put Privacy Badger back on.

Same here. Ah well, it's an easy extension to customize.

I just started having this problem today. It worked fine yesterday.
I'm using Windows 10 and Firefox. The last Firefox update was last week. I'm not running Privacy Badger. I do have the DuckDuckGo extension. I've tried disabling it, disabling the other extensions I was running, and turning my VPN off. I turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection for this site. I logged off, cleared history and cookies, closed my browser, restarted my computer, and logged back in. None of that worked. And I tried using Chrome with the same result.

If it's doing the same thing in both browsers, it leads me to think it may have been the result of a recent Windows update.
