Default Where did my thread go and why?

Folks,
I started a pro NRA post that in my estimation met all the rules of the 2nd amendment forum. It's gone. I haven't received a notification. No idea why.

I suspect it was deleted because it was posted in the wrong area.

Nice, I'd like to do the right thing but there is no input. Guess supporting the NRA not so important after all.

It wasn't your good deed, which many here support. After looking through the thread, I saw it was filled with anti NRA rants and political posts. Because of the many grass fires the recent news of the NRA has started on the board, it's most likely the admin felt it was easier to remove than try to edit.

The forum's owner and moderators are all pro-NRA and we applaud any and all efforts to support the organization. Unfortunately though, a small but vocal group of members use any opportunity they find to spout negative things about the organization. I have been a life member since the early 70's and even back then, the NRA had their detractors, something any large organization has, so the negative voices are nothing new.

I believe I've answered your initial question and am closing this thread before those negative posters can pollute or derail it as well. If there's anything else you'd like to discuss, please PM me.
