No e-mail notification of new PM

I haven't had any problems here for a long, long time until today.
I did not receive an e-mail notification of a new private message that I received here today. I checked my user CP and the box is checked to receive such notifications. I cleared everything on my lap top and restarted it TWICE. Still no notification. I am using an old laptop with Windows 7 and my e-mail is accessed thru Internet Explorer, version 11. I know, I'm a dinosaur, but I have no trouble looking at the internet sites that I want to view!
Any ideas?

Check your spam folder.

Nothing ever shows up in my spam folder (junk folder in my Webmail). I am running Norton 360 if that makes any difference.

We have not changed it. Others are not complaining about it, so it must be a change on your end.
Perhaps they are blocked by your provider. Try adding smith-wessonforum.com to your safe senders list.
