Default Nevada Gun Leather

Here is their site: https://www.gunleather.com/index.asp

Has anyone ever dealt with them or have experience with their products? They sell, amongst other things, the "upside down" shoulder holster. Wondering if this would be a good rig for a 442. Looking for all day comfort for a back up gun for wear under a shirt or light sweatshirt or jacket and am thinking the vertical carry would give better access than a horizontal style. Any opinions? I emailed them for more photos of the harness but they said no other photos are available.

Tony: I am going to be over in that part of town tomorrow. I will drop by their retail outlet and look them and their products over. I will get back to you on what I find and what I think. ..... So far you are interested in a shoulder holster for a J frame? Will you be carrying under a suit coat or a cold weather jacket? You prefer black or brown leather?

I used to carry a Model 66/2.5" in a Galco rig that held the 66 about 45 deg. to the vertical/horizontal. That worked very well for me. ..... Big Cholla

Tony: Went by that address this noon time. It is a 'maildrop and package ship" place. So, I can't tell you a thing about this leather goods maker. I guess that they work at home and do business only over the internet. .......... Big Cholla

Well I certainly appreciate the effort, thank you very much for trying. I work plain clothes and here in Ohio we range anywhere from below zero to 90+. My primary duty weapon is a Glock 23, the 442 is back-up. Don't much like ankle holsters and want something more accessible and thought this might be an option. There are plenty of testimonials on their site and the photos of the stuff looks good. I remember the old upside down style holster made by someone years ago (Bianchi?) and a Google search led me to the Nevada Gun Leather site. But, again, I really appreciate your help.

Tony, I ran across them while attending a gun show they were working in Tucson. While I can't speak about their shoulder holsters, I did examine the belt holsters and did make a purchase. Extremely well made and very reasonably priced compared to most other makers. My .02. I will certainly buy from them again. Best Regards....
