I know we've got a number of holster makers and other leather workers here on the site. I can't go out an replace a number of holsters i've had for years. They were stored away for quite a bit of time, but now I find myself in need of some of them. While in storage the ones I want to use have dried out and also acquired something that's probably mildew. A couple just are affected by mildew. Those are just going to be cleaned up and maintained from here.
I will be starting by at least hitting them with saddle soap. But can they be returned to a reasonably functional state. They don't have to perform much more that just hold on to the firearms. They were all quality holsters at the time.
So these were all from at least 20 to 40 years old. And I can't afford to replace them.
Thanks,
