I've got a RIA 1911 GI in .38 Super that I picked up last summer. Love the gun, love the cartridge, but I've had a terrible time finding a holster that balanced well for me. Well, I found mention of a holster maker in VT, Andy Langlois, and I took advantage of his christmas sale. I got this matching buffalo holster and mag pouch and a new gun belt for just $120 shipped and it took him only a week and a half to get the rig to me. They just arrived today and I am thoroughly impressed with his work. The holster rides perfect for me, high enough to conceal but not so high that it feels top heavy. The gun fits deep into the holster and is secure but very fast, with a slight forward cant. Anyway, if you're in the market Andy is definitely worth checking out, email him at [email protected]
