A friend of mine has a holster made by BoyT in 1943.
Could someone tell me about this maker?

I imagine it was made by Boyt Harness Co. They are still in the leather goods business.There is one on Ebay for $13 and one on Auctionarms for $199 , so worth is in the eyes of the beholder. I have a Warren Leather Goods 45 holster marked 1917 that is valued a $10-$225 depending on where you look.
