Tom Threeperson Holster
I posted this on one of the ruger sites also.
Last year someone was going to make Tom Threeperson style holsters and offer them for sale.
Anybody know who that was?

I think maybe you are talking about forum member Lobo, of Lobo Gunleather.
Lobo Gun Leather - The Classic Tom Threepersons style holster
Looks to me like quality work at a great price. Many members speak highly of his work.

Here is my Tom Threepersons style holster in the S. D. Myres pattern made by Ray at LOBO Gun Leather.
It was made to fit my 6.5" .38/44 Outdoorsman revolvers.
Nice guy and only about a month wait.

What is the price? Does he do basketweave work, and how good is it, if you've seen any?
Thanks,

Thanks to all for the nice comments. The Classic Tom Threepersons-style holsters are still available in plain, basketweave, and hand-carved in the style of old Tom's original (credit to S.D. Myres Saddlery, circa 1920). My carver is a very talented man who has studied the original design and can produce excellent results, so I would like to keep him busy!

What a familiar pattern.
I've had this holster for at least 30 years but never paid it much mind - Just a holster. Well made - Very well made!
It's lined with a soft type of leather - There isn't a loose or missing stitch on it.
My old 10-5 rides in it.
On the back by what I believe was an ink stamp is:
S&W M&P 4"
(something worn off) MASTERPIECE
DET OFF. POLICE
At the bottom, stamped into the leather is:
(in an oval)
ALAMO
LEATHER GOODS CO.
SAN ANTONIO,TEX.
(at the bottom - out of the oval)
203L
